La Topic Leader

I am Chiara Samorì, I graduated in 2006 with a degree in Environmental Sciences from the University of Bologna and was awarded my PhD degree in Environmental Sciences in 2010. I became a fixed-term researcher in 2015 at the Department of Chemistry “Giacomo Ciamician” - CHIM and have been an associate professor in Organic Chemistry since 2021. For many years, I have been studying Sustainable Chemistry and the possibilities for improvements to processes and products that this powerful tool can offer; I like to integrate chemistry with the other subjects that feature in the Environmental Sciences, such as Ecotoxicology, Physiology and Biology.
