RERSUS - Cure Intermedie: confronto e trasferimento di strumenti gestionali tra Italia e Brasile

The Rersus Project - Intermediate Care: comparison and transfer of management tools between Italy and Brazil, is a one-year pilot experience in a collaboration in the health and social area between the Emilia-Romagna Region (Regional Health Agency, the General Directorate for Personal Care, Health and Welfare), several Brazilian institutions and Italian universities.

The aim of the project is to experiment with a model of intermediate care in Brazil, at the Carlos Tortelly Hospital in Niterói, with care pathways and innovative management tools based on the model of the Emilia-Romagna Region. The organizational model of intermediate care adopted in Emilia-Romagna is fully implemented by the Casa della Salute of San Secondo, where with its 30 beds dedicated to intermediate care, the largest structure of this type is operating at a regional level.

The project sees the collaboration of numerous Italian and Brazilian partners, such as the Italian Association of Friends of Raoul Follereau (lead partner), University of Bologna, University of Parma, Fluminense Federal University, USL Modena Company, USL Company of Parma, USL Company of Romagna, Municipality of Castelfranco Emilia, Brazil Health and Action Association - BRASA.
