Participation Fee: 90€ (which covers participation in all sessions, course materials, coffee breaks, and lunches)
The Winter School is limited to 50 participants:  preference will be given to doctoral students conducting research related to the theme of the school.

Application requirements

•  Application Form (fillable at the bottom of this page), fully completed.
• Doctoral students only: a supervisor’s statement confirming doctoral status.

How to apply — step by step

1. Fill out the application form ✍🏻

Complete and submit the online application form within the application period: 09 November 2026 – 05 January 2027

2. Complete the payment 💶

The participation fee is €90 if you require a payment receipt, or €109.80 (€90 + 22% VAT) if you require a formal invoice.

In both cases, payment must be made by bank transfer to:

Please indicate the following as the payment reference:

“ACWS2027 registration NAME + SURNAME” (Please replace NAME + SURNAME with your full name.)

⚠️ Option A — Payment receipt (no formal invoice required) ⚠️

If you only require a payment receipt, please follow the standard procedure:

• Transfer the participation fee of €90, using the bank details and payment reference provided above.
• Send a copy of the payment receipt, specifying your full name, to cusb.progetti@unibo.it (organizers/accounting office).

The payment receipt will be issued in your name and will state that the payment is for participation in the Winter School. It will be automatically sent to your email address once the payment has been processed and your registration has been finalized.

⚠️ Option B — Formal invoice required ⚠️

If you require a formal invoice, the participation fee is €90 + 22% VAT, for a total of €109.80.

Before making the payment, please email cusb.progetti@unibo.it, specifying that you require a formal invoice and providing the following billing details:

• Name/company or institution to which the invoice should be issued
• Full billing address
• VAT number (Partita IVA) and/or tax identification code (Codice Fiscale), as applicable
• Recipient code (Codice Destinatario) and/or certified email address (PEC), as applicable
• Email address to which a copy of the invoice should be sent

Once you have provided the billing details, please pay the total amount of €109.80 by bank transfer to the following account:

After completing the transfer, please send a copy of the payment receipt, specifying your full name, to cusb.progetti@unibo.it (organizers/accounting office).

The formal invoice will be issued using the billing details provided and sent through the applicable invoicing channel.

3. Final confirmation

Your registration will be considered complete only after the organizers have verified your payment and finalized your enrollment.

You will then receive a final confirmation email.

Insurance

For insurance coverage throughout the entire duration of the event, all participants will be automatically registered free of charge with CUSB
