ACTLIFE is focused on the development and dissemination across Europe of ACTLIFE protocol aimed to the secondary and tertiary prevention of osteoporosis consequences through physical activities. In particular the project aims to deal with bone mineral density and fear of falling in people with osteoporosis.
Specific goals are:
- Identification, assessment and sharing of an exercise program for people with established osteoporosis
- Raise awareness involving the Health decision makers and promote sport and physical activity implementing the ACTLIFE protocol inside the local and national Healthcare Programs
- Facilitate the participation of people with osteoporosis in physical activity programs
- Involve policy makers to develop awareness campaigns for healthy lifestyle promoting specific courses based on ACTLIFE protocol
The ACTLIFE results will be disseminated throughout:
