HONORS TRACK @ DICAM

An excellence program for talented students

The Department of Civil, Chemical, Environmental and Materials Engineering (DICAM) offers a unique opportunity for the most deserving students: the Honors Track @ DICAM. An advanced training program that complements the Master’s Degree with research activities, mentoring, and specialized teaching.

 


What it is:

The Honors Track is an excellence program aimed at:

  • Promoting students with outstanding academic results.
  • Providing high-quality learning experiences.
  • Anticipating the start of research activities and preparing for an academic or professional career.
  • Selected students will have access to an academic mentor, additional courses, and the opportunity to join research projects starting from the first year.

 

 


 Who it is for:

Eligible applicants are students enrolled in the 1st year of the following Master’s Degree programs:

  • Civil Engineering
  • Chemical and Process Engineering
  • Environmental Engineering

 


Positions and scholarships:

A total of 15 positions, of which 3 with scholarships (€ 2,760.00 gross, paid in two installments). Allocation of positions:

  • Civil Engineering: 5 positions (1 scholarship)
  • Chemical Engineering: 5 positions (1 scholarship)
  • Environmental Engineering: 5 positions (1 scholarship)

 


Main requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree with GPA ≥ 28/30,  obtained within the expected time frame.
  • Enrollment in the 1st year of one of the listed Master’s Degrees.
  • English language proficiency at least at B2 level.
  • Not already holding a Master’s Degree and not previously enrolled in a Master’s Degree program.

 


 Commitments required from selected students:

  • Obtain at least 54 ECTS credits by September 30, 2026, with GPA ≥ 28/30.
  • Graduate within the expected time frame.
  • Attend extra courses: 1 additional 6-ECTS course & 2 PhD@DICAM courses.
  • Take part in research activities and program initiatives.

 


 Graduation awards:

At the end of the program, 3 graduation awards (one per area) will be granted, each worth € 1,843.32 gross.
