Scientific Production

Epidemiology, primary prevention, acute event management and its related complications, and secondary prevention: each of these phases in the clinical course and management of individuals who develop myocardial infarction affects patients differently depending on whether they are women or men, older or younger adults, or belong to specific ethnic or social groups. The Laboratory investigates all stages of the disease, analyzing differences that may have a biological, clinical, or social etiology.
