Joint learning opportunities: methodologies and procedures for effective international programmes design and implementation
From 2 to 6 June 2025, the University of Bologna will host an Advanced Skill Course titled Joint learning opportunities: methodologies and procedures for effective international programmes design and implementation at its Centro de Altos Estudios in Buenos Aires.
The course is aimed at academic and administrative staff involved in higher education in Latin America, and focuses on sharing methodologies, strategies and good practices for the design and implementation of effective and sustainable international programmes, with particular attention to the South American context and possible integration with the Italian education system.
The course follows a blended format: a week of in-person sessions will be followed by online meetings in June, July and September.
Key topics include:
- The Italian university system and the University of Bologna
- Curriculum design and student services
- Internationalisation strategies and academic cooperation
- Student mobility and double degree programmes
- Innovation in learning formats, including micro-credentials and lifelong learning certificates
Participants will have the opportunity to engage with staff from Argentinian partner universities, including UADE, UCA, Universidad Di Tella, UNR, UNCUYO and ITBA, to exchange ideas, analyse existing models and develop integrated training pathways.
The initiative is part of the project HerIT4future – TNE23-00041 – CUP J31I24000290006, funded by the Ministry of University and Research (MUR) under Mission 4 Component 1 (M4C1) – Investment 3.4 of Italy’s National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP).
It is one of the many actions promoted by the University of Bologna to strengthen internationalisation and enhance higher education on a global scale.
