Researchers involved in the WET project will contribute to the 27th ESCAMPIG Conference (ESCAMPIG 2026), one of the leading international events dedicated to the physics and applications of low-temperature plasmas.

The conference will provide an opportunity to disseminate scientific results and strengthen interactions with the international plasma physics community, in line with the objectives of WET.

Two contributions related to activities carried out by WET partners have been accepted for presentation:

  • M. Rutigliano et al., Krypton atoms scattering from a hydrogenated diamond surface (poster presentation)
  • F. Taccogna, P. Minelli, F. Cichocki, PIC model of a hollow cathode for air-breathing electric propulsion (poster presentation)

These contributions address topics of direct relevance to advanced electric propulsion and plasma–surface interactions, further supporting the development of innovative and sustainable propulsion technologies for future space missions.

The WET consortium looks forward to engaging with researchers and stakeholders attending ESCAMPIG 2026 and to sharing the latest advances achieved within the project.
