SHORT DESCRIPTION: No Chatueau is a no-profit organization born in Amsterdam with the aim to put people in contact and create a green area to socialize, collaborate and share good moments with others. A project from No Chatueau allows participants to manage a vineyard for a year, from winter pruning to autumn harvest.
KEY ACTIVITIES: No Chateau guides 70 participants from planning and organizing, to the actual fulfilment of the work in the vineyard. Following an annual schedule, participants do manual activities while following workshop and lectures, in order to build a comprehensive understanding of viticulture. Moreover, No Chateau works together with other organizations linked to urban agriculture and it is committed in teaching environmental sustainability to students in school. The foundation opens its fields to citizens not only with the active participation in the projects, but also with guided tours.
