Floema

SHORT DESCRIPTION: the will to stay close to nature, together with expertise and manual skills, brought two students graduated from Agricultural High School to found Floema Farm. The first plantation was wheat, then also some vegetables and fruits; together with the production, also the associates increased from two to five. Floema cares about the soil and the territory, and it is very careful in every aspect of the farm, from the administration to the communication, with attention to technological innovation.  

 

KEY ACTIVITIES: Floema Farm activities start with the work in the field and the plantation of fruit and vegetables. Even if with no biological certification, Floema techniques meet all biological agriculture practise; they use bees for pollination and equipment not dangerous for the environment. On the other side of the chain there is the sale of fresh and processed products. Floema looks to privates, to restaurants or other companies that decide to take care, through food, of the well-being of their workers.
