SHORT DESCRIPTION: Agricoltura Capodarco is a social cooperative created more than 30 years ago in Grottaferrata (RM). It aims to facilitate social inclusion and employment opportunities by practices of social farming. Social farming combines farm work, solidarity and mutual-aid services. It does so start by the organization of the activity itself then its fulfilment, the choice of the target and the fundraising. It collaborates with public institutions, universities and local citizens in order to promote these activities.
KEY ACTIVITIES: people in need or with difficulties in finding a job are involved by Agricoltura Capodarco in training courses or in employment projects. Moreover, the cooperative helps people with different types of disability with physical therapies, it organizes environmental education projects for people of all ages and looks after children and old people during the day.
