Stefania De Pascale has BS and MS degrees in Agricultural Sciences (University of Naples - IT) and MS degree in Landscape Architecture (Polytechnic University of Turin - IT). She is currently Professor of Horticulture at the University of Naples Federico II. She teaches courses of Vegetable and Floriculture Crops, Greenhouse horticulture and Crop-physiology and supervises MSc and PhD students.

He is currently the Academic Secretary of the Doctoral School (2013).  He is currently the Academic Secretary of the Doctoral School (2013). He is the head researcher of the research group on  sustainability and environmental protection (SosteniPrA, SGR).

Head of research group “Built Environment” at ILS

Research Institute for Regional and Urban Development, located in Dortmund and Aachen, Germany studied architecture and urban design (Dipl.-Ing.) at RWTH Aachen University. She has got a track record in research on adaptation processes of the built environment and green infrastructure and is expert in the area of urban gardening. She chaired COST Action TU1201 “Urban Allotment Gardens in European Cities” (2012-2016) and is co-editor and ca-author of the book “Urban Allotment Gardens in Europe” (Routledge, 2016), and partner coordinator of “FEW-meter”, funded the Joint Programme Initiative Sustainable Urbanisation Global Initiative (SUGI) with Horizon 2020.

Helene Gallis

Helene Gallis

Head, Nabolaghager, Oslo, Norway

An award-winning environmentalist, her experience includes environmental policy development, social entrepreneurship and development of triple bottom line localized business ideas and developing and managing community gardens. She also has a lot of public speaking engagements and lecturing experience and oversees the full portfolio of various international and national projects that Nabolagshager participates in. She has master studies in Sustainability from UPC (Spain) and communication studies from Mexico, Australia and Ecuador. She is the author of “Dyrk byen!”, Norway’s first book on urban farming projects, and a member of the Placemaking Leadership Council.
