Research questions

This project represents the first attempt to study a phenomenon that is social before being linguistic, in a unitary framework, which integrates the typological, sociolinguistic, sociological and pedagogical perspectives. The competences of the project members reproduce these perspectives, and are transversal to the four project units.

The project’s scheduled time-plan can be subsumed under the following research questions:

First year: what do we expect to find in the linguistic production of a typical university student?

Second year: what do we effectively find in the written linguistic production of a typical university student?

Third year: which teaching strategies can be planned in order to reach an effective linguistic education for a typical university student?
