We are delighted to invite our Student Ambassadors to discover the University of Bologna’s Botanic Garden, founded in 1568 and among the oldest in Europe. The garden hosts a remarkable collection of plants from across the world, including rare and medicinal species.
During the visit, you will explore its landscapes, greenhouses, and thematic areas, while learning more about its history, scientific research, and conservation activities.
This event is part of a series of initiatives dedicated to Student Ambassadors, aimed at fostering connections, getting to know each other, and experiencing the University of Bologna beyond the classroom. It is an opportunity to share an afternoon together, enjoy the beauty of the campus, and deepen your understanding of the university’s cultural and scientific heritage.
The event will take place on 18 September 2025, from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM, at the Botanic Garden, Via Irnerio 42, Bologna. Meeting point is at 3:15, via Filippo Re 6, in front of Palazzina della Viola.
