On 18 September 2025, our Student Ambassadors had the opportunity to discover the University of Bologna’s Botanic Garden — founded in 1568 and among the oldest in Europe. The garden hosts a remarkable collection of plants from across the world, including rare and medicinal species.
During the visit, participants explored its landscapes, greenhouses, and thematic areas, while learning more about its history, scientific research, and conservation activities.
This initiative was part of a series of events dedicated to Student Ambassadors, designed to foster connections, encourage exchange, and experience the University of Bologna beyond the classroom. It was a pleasant afternoon spent together, enjoying the beauty of the campus and deepening their understanding of the university’s cultural and scientific heritage.
