STARTUP DAY IS THE FIRST STEP

The event is the gateway to the annual journey that Almacube, the Incubator of the University of Bologna, organizes for its students and recent graduates. If you will join a team, you will have the opportunity to take part in the Ignition Program, followed by the Incubation Program: coworking office spaces, personalized education, mentoring, business development support, access to Confindustria Emilia network and finance and, after one year of work, the opportunity to present the project in front of an audience of investors.

SOME ADVICE TO START

Startup Day is not a recruiting event. The curriculum does not make a difference. It is personal motivation and commitment to developing a project that really matters. For a new startup, the team is the most important resource. Therefore, your role as a player is crucial during Startup Day, as well as during the growth of the project.

NEVER LOSE HOPE!

Do not be scared of not being the right one. Often, we tend to think that startups are “things for specialists”. Not true at all! Transversal competencies, or those considered as unusual, are very useful in this world.

IF YOU WANT TO PROVE YOURSELF, THEN STARTUP DAY IS THE EVENT FOR YOU: FROM ECONOMISTS TO SCIENTISTS, FROM IT TO HUMANISTS, EVERYONE CAN MAKE THE DIFFERENCE.
