You can take part in the event as a startupper

Are you already a startupper, or you have a great idea in mind?

Who it’s for: students and graduates who have obtained their degree less than 3 years

When it takes place: 1 February - 9 March 2021 (6 pm) - NEW deadline

The call is divided into two categories:

  • Emerging ideas: focusing on new ideas. The 30 best project ideas will be selected to take part in a cycle of 6 thematic hackathons. The cycle aims to develop the ideas so they are ready for a business pitch given during the StartUp Day. The selected participants will also have the possibility to join the start-up programme.
  • Established start-ups: devoted to already established start-ups. The 10 best start-ups selected will have direct access to the StartUp Day and the business acceleration services offered by AlmaCube.

Would you like to put into play your competences to develop an innovative idea?

Who it’s for: students and graduates who have obtained their degree less than 3 years

When it takes place: 1 - 28 February 2021 (6 pm)

Call for Players 2021 aims to select students (players) who will be able to contribute to the development of the entrepreneurial project by participating in the StartUp Day 2021. The selected players will have the opportunity to put in practice their skills during the thematic business development hackathons on topical and trendy issues.

Call for Spin-off Project

A call for projects enhancing market research activities

A call for projects enhancing market research activities

Who it’s for: professors and researchers

Deadline: 22 february 2021

The programme selects projects deriving from research activities conducted at the University with potential impact on the market, to be enhanced through a business development programme.

In particular, the groups winning the call will:

  • have a research fellowship
  • have the possibility to access the prototyping and co-working spaces (ALMALABOR), free of charge

They will also have access to training programmes and pre-incubation services provided by the University to support business start-ups, which for organisational reasons must necessarily be limited to a maximum number of participants, and to the networking days and the Start-up Day, the first opportunity to present the projects.

To take part, submit an application within the deadline specified in the call.
