Dr. Enrico Di Oto was born in Bologna (IT) in 1983. Between 2002 and 2012 he got his 1st and 2nd level degree in Biology (Bologna University - Faculty of Mathematical, Physical and Natural Sciences) and the Specialization in Clinical Pathology (Bologna University - Faculty of Medicine). Later, in 2016, he got his PhD in Oncology and Experimental Pathology. During all this period (2002-today) Enrico improves his knowledge about Cancer diagnostics procedures with a focus on DNA markers. In 2013, with a colleague, developed the technology that allows reducing the time and the costs of the DNA tests for cancer diagnosis by improving the efficiency of the actual procedures. They decided to patent the discovered technology and scout its potential as a product to be put in the market. In 2015 he was enrolled in the 1st edition of Unibo LaunchPad program and won it. In 2016 he participated in the TVLP program in Silicon Valley where his idea was awarded as one of the best business projects. In 2017, after several awards in Italy and in China, Enrico was enrolled in the prestigious RebelBio accelerator program (Cork-IE) receiving a seed investment from SOS venture. The same year OaCP was founded by Enrico, and his friends Francesco, Matteo, Andrea, Eros that make together a great team.Today, OaCP is commercializing its products based on Enrico researches in 15 countries
