Corax is a biomedical device designed for transportation and treatment of young patients (0-4 y/o) in low-middle income countries. The goal is to create a safe and restricted environment in order to control temperature, humidity, ventilation and integrating a washing system, to avoid the main causes of death which are infections and hypothermia. The device is intended to be versatile (in particular to treat burnt child), user-friendly and reduces the need for personnel and costs.
This idea was selected as part of the StudENT for Africa project.
