Through the use of temporary furnaces fed with agricultural waste, Chiwarà proposes a durable and sustainable building material.
Chiwarà's activity aims at the production of local, durable and sustainable building materials through the firing of raw earth bricks inside locally installed and temporary furnaces. Following an analysis of the market value of similar materials, a monitoring and automation system is currently being developed to reduce production costs, increasing the competitiveness of the material while ensuring high performance.
This idea is on of the three selected projects for StudENT For Africa.
