Three best Presenters

The 3MT is an academic competition that challenges PhD students to describe their research in not more than three minutes in English language to a general audience. 3MT celebrates the discoveries made by research students and encourages you to communicate the importance of your research to the broader community.

The first phase of the competition finished gathering over 60 applications from 27 different doctoral courses

During the final 3MT UNIBO Edition event, the jury composed of Antonino Rotolo, Vice Rector for Research, Beatrice Fraboni, Director of the Collegio Superiore, Annalisa Pelizza, Professor of Science and Technology Studies (STS) and holds the Chair in Sociology of Communication Processes, Federico Stella, Member of the Collegio Superiore and assisted by the voting public, chose the three best presentations among those of the 14 finalists.

Christina took the Second Place with her presentation. Congratulations!

SAFERUP! Prize 2019

During the FIRST International Winter School held in Moena (Italy) from 15th to 18th of December 2019, a special session was devoted to the awarding of the first SAFERUP! Annual Prize entitled to Mr. Fabio Capanelli, an estimated colleague and friend.

Congratulations to @secallai @siverio_lima and @octaviozl for winning 3 out of 4 prizes in the competition.

Conference award

Niloufar Zabihi, ESR 14 was awarded the 2nd best presentation in the Engineering Department's postgraduate conference. It was given for the quality and consistency of the presentation. In her presentation, she talked about her project's topic, the recent progress in the field and some simulations that she had run to that date.
It was held in Lancaster University and all the postgraduate (PhD) student had to take part and make presentations of their progress.
