Educative Schools and Creative Teachers in Emilia-Romagna. A Field Study

  • Date:

    09 SEPTEMBER
    -
    10 SEPTEMBER 2021
     from 9:00 to 17:00
  • Event location: “Vladimiro Spallanzani” School, Sassuolo (MO) - Via Padova, 28

The Conference is a first discussion and verification of a field research project which was carried out in the school years 2018/2019, 2019/2020, and 2020/2021. This work began with the "Vladimiro Spallanzani" school, in the province of Modena and Reggio Emilia; during the third year, the research was extended to other six schools in Emilia which are located between the provinces of Modena, Reggio Emilia, and Bologna.

The opening of the Conference is dedicated to a synthetic research report, and to the presentation of some educational issues that emerged mainly during the last school year. During the afternoon of the 9th, the teachers of the schools will be involved as protagonists. After being distributed in four parallel sessions (panels), they will report educational-didactic projects and experiences related to four different themes: (1) DL (distance learning), (2) learning as an experience, (3) the communities of practice in the school and (4) the artistic expression. The second day of the Conference is dedicated to teachers' creativity, which will be analysed from a pedagogical point of view. In the afternoon the theme “Educative schools” will be addressed by a round table with the headmasters of the schools involved in the research.
