Main research activities/topics/projects

The research activity focuses on work and organizational psychology, with particular attention to the psychological processes underlying organizational functioning, innovation, and human resource management in digital contexts.

Main research areas include:

Organizational identification and social identity processes at work; Leadership, organizational culture, and employee well-being; Innovation, ambidexterity, and employee innovative behavior; Applicant reactions and fairness perceptions in recruitment and selection processes; Artificial Intelligence in HRM (AI-based selection, digital recruitment, algorithmic management); Psychological empowerment, engagement, and quality of working life Ethical climate, organizational justice, and trust in organizations.

Current and recent projects also investigate:

the impact of AI and digital technologies on employee attitudes and candidate experience; psychological mechanisms (e.g., identity, fairness, affect) linking organizational practices to behavioral outcomes; the role of individual differences (e.g., age, digital skills) in shaping reactions to technological change.

International students (Master, PhD, Post-doc) can be involved in: empirical research projects (quantitative and/or experimental); data analysis (e.g., SEM, regression, PROCESS models); literature reviews and theoretical model development co-authorship of scientific publications.
