Main research activities/topics/projects

Prof. Massimo Salgaro invites scholars to present expressions of interest in applying jointly for a Mobility Confap Italy (MCI) on literary theory, German literature, and comparative literature. The research topics I propose are those I am currently working on with my research team. As you will see, these topics approach literature from an interdisciplinary perspective — particularly within the frameworks of digital humanities and empirical aesthetics. They include, for example:
- the concept of literary value
- stylistics and stylometry
- literary empathy
- the concept of the “normal”
- disability studies in literature
