Teaching Unit 2 : Applications of inverse problems in imaging

This teaching unit will discuss the application of learned reconstructions to large-scale and computationally intensive imaging problems. We will specifically discuss the approach of learned iterative reconstructions, that intertwines classical analytical iterative reconstruction methods with data-driven components. We will concentrate on approaches that enable us to manage the computational challenge associated with computationally expensive forward models. Applications are presented for linear as well as non-linear inverse problems.
