  • Who it’s for

    Migrants

  • What it’s for

With the aid of partners, it organizes programs adapted to migrants.

Delitelabs is an incubator focused on migrants, as it is trying to tackle the problem of migration integration. It considers itself a startup school, and wants to help newcomers achieve economic and societal independence through entrepreneurship.

• With the aid of the business community, governmental institutions, and partners organizations, it organizes different types of programs that adapt to the yearly cohort’s demand.

• The main criterium applied by the incubator is related to the applicant’s motivation: entrepreneurs are subject to long interviews from the program managers, who will assess the entrepreneurs’ commitment to joining the programs. Entrepreneurs do not need to have a clear-cut business idea; all types of businesses are welcome.

• The technique used in the trainings is one of experiential learning made specifically for the target group. Topics such as personal development, understanding how business is carried out in the new country, and understanding the taste and needs of its population are covered during the sessions.

• The main language used is English, although some programs may be carried out in Dutch.

• The incubator finds networking and social events an important part of experience offered in its programs as through these events they create a lively community.

• The methods used are workshops, masterclasses, and interactive sessions that are guided by either the internal staff of the incubator or by external experts.
