Registrations are now open for the Introductory Workshop on the Medieval Manuscript, which will take place in Paris from 5 to 9 October 2026.
Organised by the Institut de recherche et d'histoire des textes (IRHT) continuously since 1989 and led by leading experts in codicology and palaeography, the workshop represents a unique opportunity for in-depth study of the medieval manuscript.
One of the workshop's thematic tracks is dedicated to the Hebrew manuscript and includes specialised workshops in which selected illuminated codices from the Bibliothèque nationale de France (BnF) will be presented, covering biblical, philosophical, scientific, and kabbalistic subjects.
