Social Business Change is an opportunity for the students of the University of Bologna to take part in a workshop and training programme aiming to identify and develop ideas with potential business impact, using the equipment at the University Makerspace ALMALABOR.
The programme is divided into two sections:
The candidates will be called on to cooperate in CHALLENGES in the following fields:
The University of Bologna network of Museums and Collections is part of the initiative, supporting the definition of the challenge and the programme implementation.

The programme targets 60 multi-university students:
- Social entrepreneurship – developed in partnership with the DISA Department of the University of Bologna – is open to 40 students of the University of Bologna, with 16 places reserved for specific degree programmes (see Call)
- Sustainability – developed in partnership with the School of Excellence of the University of Bologna and IUSS, the University School for Advanced Studies of Pavia – is open to 20 students (10 per school).
The programme with begin with three days of Hackathon held from 20 to 22 October, full time, aiming to define and develop the business projects.
The selected projects at the end of this stage will go on to the next phase of development, involving several meetings between November 2021 and May 2022.
