EXTREME - EXtraordinary TRansduction via Elastic MEtasurfaces

EXTREME is a research project exploring active and nonlinear elastic metamaterials to enable next-generation transduction. It investigates new approaches in wave elastodynamics for the design of modular transducers tailored to structural health monitoring (SHM) and nondestructive testing (NDT), combining analytical modeling, numerical simulation, and experimental validation.
