A digital twin of a building for construction is a dynamic digital replica of the actual building, integrating real-time (or near-real-time) data from sensors, Building Information Modeling (BIM), and other sources. It allows for visualization, simulation, and analysis of the building's behavior throughout its lifecycle: design, construction, operation, and maintenance.
For Unibo, the objective is to create a digital twin for the construction of a building, with the aim of facilitating learning and training of trainers, as part of the ET4Digital project.
