The project will promote several Training and Multiplier events, some of them back to back with planned partners meetings, they will be the basis for testing Training design, collecting feedback, promoting discussion and widening the networking opportunities within a community of practice:

      • May 2021 - Hamburg. Linked Open Data and Ethiopic Manuscripts and Inscriptions

The following cornerstones will be at the basis of our training design and delivery:

a. the knowledge on how to use digital data, both in the teaching/learning and in the research domain, the ability not only to use available digital resources, but also to work with datasets and to choose/modify the appropriate digital tools for data analysis and for advanced problem solving;

b. the awareness of the importance of producing and distributing openly accessible and freely licensed digital data, following common and accepted standards, establishing norms for easy reference, and providing reproducible and reliable results;

c. the belief on the relevance of the digital environment and of integration of data to foster sustainability, participatory and intercultural approaches to heritage, as well as intercultural dialogue related to cultural heritage.
