L'aria sul viso - Feel the Wind: Stories, Media, and Inclusion. A scientific screening for the PRIN “dis-ABILITY!” project

At Rimini’s Cinema Fulgor (EU Researchers’ Night), a doc on Martina Caironi’s road to Rio 2016 and a PRIN dis-ABILITY! debate explored inclusive, non-stereotyped media narratives.

Hosted at Cinema Fulgor in Rimini, within the EU Researchers’ Night, the event features the screening of a documentary following Paralympic athlete Martina Caironi on her road to Rio 2016 and a scientific debate with the PRIN “dis-ABILITY!” team. The evening explored how media representations of disability in sport can move beyond stereotypes and stigma, co-creating more inclusive narratives together with athletes and the public.
