SOCIALIZING CULTURE
Starting from 2019, La Soffitta presents a new profile that embraces all the artistic typologies and social ramifications of "making culture". La Soffitta has been transformed into a center of cultural activation, which applies the interests and possibilities of university research to the multifaceted world of the arts, concretely present through its works, its creative processes, its artists, and its differentiated forms of organization. As can be seen from its programming, the Center designs events, exhibitions, conferences, meetings, workshops, creative teaching experiences.
The aim of all this activity is to socialize cultural processes by promoting more aware, stronger, more complete forms of participation. It is a task that would not be possible to carry out without the support of University of Bologna and the proximity of interests with local authorities and other territorial cultural realities.
