Eventi in corso o in programma

19 OCTOBER 2018

Seminars

Marco Peloso, A BRIEF INTRODUCTION TO DE BRANGES SPACES IN ONE AND SEVERAL VARIABLES

Dept of Math, Aula Vitali

We intend to point out a few fundamental facts about De Branges spaces and discuss a non-obvious but very natural generalization to several variables

18 OCTOBER 2018

Seminars

THE DIRICHLET SPACE ON THE BI-DISC II

This is the second of a series of seminars based on a preprint by N. Arcozzi, P. Mozolyako, K.M. Perfekt, G. Sarfatti. We consider "soft" arguments from Functional Analysis and a discretization scheme.

12 OCTOBER 2018

Seminars

Nicola Arcozzi: The Dirichlet Space on the Bi-Disc I

Dept of Math, Aula Vitali

This is the first of a series of seminars based on a preprint by N. Arcozzi, P. Mozolyako, K.M. Perfekt, G. Sarfatti. Many questions and problems will be mentioned in the course of the talks.

11 SEPTEMBER 2018

Seminars

Charles Curry (NTNU, Trondheim) SUB-RIEMANNIAN BROWNIAN MOTION AND NUMERICS FOR SDES

Dip. di Matematica, Aula Vitali

We place the numerical method of Cruzeiro, Malliavin and Thalmeier for simulation of elliptic diffusions in the context of Riemannian geometry and discuss possible extensions to the hypoelliptic case.

School

Summer School "ACOTCA 2018"

Bologna

Advanced Course in Operator Theory and Complex Analysis XV edition

09 MARCH 2018

Seminars

Chiara De Fabritiis, U. Politecnica delle Marche: s-Regular Functions which Preserve a Complex Slice

Det. of Math. Seminario I

Joint work with A. Altavilla. See abstract at: https://www.dm.unibo.it/seminari/seminars/1865

16 FEBRUARY 2018

Seminars

Berardo Ruffini (U. de Montpellier): Some results on an isoperimetric model for charged liquid drops

Dept of Math, Seminario I

We consider an isoperimetric model, originally proposed by Lord Rayleigh, aimed to describe the (lack of) equilibria of a liquid conducting drop in presence of a charge on its surface. https://www.dm.unibo.it/seminari/seminars/1837

09 FEBRUARY 2018

Seminars

Pavel Mozolyako: Logarithmic Potential Theory on the the bi-tree

Dept. of Math. Sala Riviste

An informal view on bilinear potential theory. We give basic definitions, describe differences with the one-dimensional case, and state some open problems.

03 FEBRUARY 2018

We will be here: Workshop su varietà reali e complesse: geometria, topologia e analisi armonica

Pisa, Scuola Normale Superiore Aula Bianchi, Palazzo della Carovana

Questo è il sesto workshop annuale svolto nell'ambito dell'omonimo progetto PRIN e teso all'aggiornamento collettivo sui progressi compiuti. (PI: Fulvio Ricci)

26 JANUARY 2018

Seminars

Giulia Sarfatti (U. of Firenze): Shift invariant subspaces of the quaternionic space of slice L^2 functions

Dept of Math, Seminario II

I will give a characterization for invariant subspaces for the shift operator in a quaternionic variable; providing a different proof for the quaternionic Beurling Theorem and an inner-outer factorization for functions in the quaternionic Hardy space. Work with A. Monguzzi.

15 DECEMBER 2017

Seminars

Pavel Mozolyako: Several facts about harmonic measure

Dept. of Math. Room Seminario I

In this talk we will present the basics of harmonic measure (with focus on the probabilistic interpretation). We will give a (very brief) overview of its history in analysis, properties and discuss some related results (mostly about the geometrical properties of its support).

06 DECEMBER 2017

Seminars

NICOLA ARCOZZI: H^\INFTY CONTROL THEORY: BETWEEN COMPLEX ANALYSIS AND ENGINEERING II

Dept of Math, Seminario II

This seminar is part of the series Topics in Mathematics (https://www.dm.unibo.it/seminari/serials/21), aimed at Math Graduate Students at UNIBO: https://www.dm.unibo.it/seminari/seminars/1812
