All venues for the Coimbra Group General Assembly are situated within the University District in Bologna's historic city center.
All the venues where the Coimbra Group General Assembly will take place are located within the University District, in the historic city center.
The main venue hosting the plenary sessions and various working group meetings is the Complesso Belmeloro at Via Beniamino Andreatta, 8, Bologna (30-minute walking distance from the central Railway Station).
Additionally, other nearby spaces will be used, particularly the Rectorate of the University of Bologna, located at Via Zamboni, 33, Bologna.
During the Coimbra Group General Assembly, participants will be able to access wireless internet connectivity through multiple options. Temporary login credentials will be provided for the event, ensuring secure access to the University of Bologna’s network. Additionally, the regional network EmiliaRomagnaWiFi will be available, offering open access without authentication. Participants from institutions affiliated with the Eduroam network may connect using their home institution credentials.

The Belmeloro complex consists of two buildings, Building A and Building B.
From the main entrance, you enter Building A, where the classrooms are arranged as follows:
Room G, ground floor
Rooms B, C and D, first floor
Rooms E and F , second floor
To reach Building B, you must pass through Building A, as it is a separate structure.
In Building B, you will find the following classrooms:
Rooms P and Q, ground floor
Rooms H and I, first floor
Rooms L and M, second floor

By Bus
From Bologna Centrale Railway Station, take bus line 32 and get off at the Porta San Vitale stop, which is right in front of the event venue.
Buses are operated by the Bologna public transport service called TPER. Tickets are valid for 75 minutes and can be purchased on the bus for €2.00 or at tobacconists or newsstands for €1.50. A 24-hour ticket costs €6.00. The City Pass ticket, valid for 10 rides, costs €14.00. Only single tickets can be purchased on the bus.

Taxis are readily available at Bologna Centrale Railway Station. The main taxi companies in Bologna are Cotabo (+39 051 372727) and Taxi Cat (+39 051 4590).
On Foot
The Complesso Belmeloro is about a 30-minute walk from Bologna Centrale Railway Station. Follow the signs to the city centre and then head east towards Via Andreatta, 8. This scenic route through the historic streets of Bologna is a pleasant way to get to know the city.
