Manish Kumar, IMPAN. Factoriality and fullness of -Araki-Woods von Neumann algebras.

This talk will take place in the blue seminar room, back building Žitná 25, and on Zoom.

I will discuss the factoriality, non-injectivity and fullness questions of -Araki-Woods von Neumann algebras. These algebras are non-tracial counterparts of -Gaussian algebras combining q-deformations of Bozejko–Speicher and quasi-free deformations of Shlyakhtenko. This is joint work with Adam Skalski and Mateusz Wasilewski, and with Simeng Wang. Given the time, I will also discuss some results on the simplicity of the underlying C*-algebras.
