BOOST Paper Accepted by the Journal of Electric Propulsion

We are pleased to announce that the paper “Advancing Iodine Thruster Technology: Insights and Objectives of Project BOOST” has been accepted for publication in the Journal of Electric Propulsion.

Originally presented at the 38th International Electric Propulsion Conference (IEPC) in Toulouse, the paper outlines the main technical goals, adopted methodologies, and early achievements of the project. It covers developments in RF cathode technology, iodine storage and fluidics, and diagnostics for testing facilities, all contributing to the advancement of iodine-based electric propulsion for SmallSats.

This publication confirms the scientific relevance and visibility of the work carried out by the BOOST consortium and highlights the project's contribution to the electric propulsion community.
