Alice Mattoni

Alice Mattoni

Alice is an Associate Professor in the Department of Political and Social Sciences at the University of Bologna. She was the Principal Investigator of BIT-ACT from 2019 to 2024. From 2024 she is the Scientific Coordinator of the Horizon Europe funded project RESPOND (Rescuing Democracy from Political Corruption in Digital Societies).

Anwesha Chakraborty

Anwesha Chakraborty

Anwesha worked for BIT-ACT as a post-doctoral researcher from 2020 to 2024. From 2024 she is a research fellow at the Department of Communication Sciences, Humanities and International Studies (DISCUI) at the University of Urbino.

Alice has been part of the BIT-ACT research team as a PhD candidate from 2019 to 2024. From 2024 she is a research fellow at the Horizon Europe research project RESPOND (Rescuing Democracy from Political Corruption in Digital Societies) at the University of Bologna.

Oksana Huss

Oksana Huss

Oksana has been part of the BIT-ACT research team as a post-doctoral fellow from 2020 to 2023. Currently she is a Policy Analyst at OECD - OCDE.

Alessandra Lo Piccolo

Alessandra Lo Piccolo

Alessandra joined the BIT-ACT team as a post-doctoral researcher in 2023 after completing her PhD at the Scuola Normale Superiore. From 2024 she is a research fellow at the Horizon Europe research project RESPOND (Rescuing Democracy from Political Corruption in Digital Societies) at the University of Bologna.

Fernanda Odilla

Fernanda Odilla

Fernanda is an Assistant Professor at the University of Bologna. She worked as a research fellow for BIT-ACT from 2020 to 2024, after which she joined the Horizon Europe research project RESPOND (Rescuing Democracy from Political Corruption in Digital Societies). Within RESPOND, she leads a work package on cross-border corruption and conducts research on anti-corruption technologies.

Ester Sigillò

Ester Sigillò

Ester is Senior Assistant Professor and Marie Curie Global Fellow at the University of Bologna. She has been part of the BIT-ACT research team as a post-doctoral fellow from 2020 to 2022.

Valentina Tomadin

Valentina Tomadin

Valentina worked for BIT-ACT as a research assistant from 2021 to 2024, when she started at the Horizon Europe research project RESPOND (Rescuing Democracy from Political Corruption in Digital Societies). She holds a Masters in Global Cultures from the University of Bologna.
