WInSiC4AP - Wide band gap Innovative SiC for Advanced Power

WInSiC4AP contributes in developing reliable technology bricks for efficient and cost-effective applications addressing social challenges and market segments where Europe is a recognized global leader like automotive, avionics, railway and defence. The final outcome will be the design and the demonstration of enhanced SiC components: on-board battery chargers and DC-DC converters for HEVs, intelligent power converters of railway applications, inverters for avionics and aerospace applications, etc. WInSiC4AP links 20 partners working in the field of wide bandgap semiconductors and applications. University of Bologna participates as third part of IU.NET consortium.
