5 - Gender equality; Institution Projects; 2018

The University of Bologna applies the national policy against any form of gender pay gap as stated in the Italian Constitutional Chart, art. 37, where it is written: “Working women are entitled to equal rights and, for comparable jobs, equal pay as men”. Thus, at a specific academic position corresponds a specific pay equal for both genders.  

To monitor the application of this national policy and the elimination of the gender pay gap UNIBO provides its data per year in its Gender Equality Annual Report, specifically with the indicator “University gender inequality index (UGII)”.
