QAVAD - Quality of Life at home

The current demographic evolution in Europe has led to an increased interest in taking into account and supporting people at home. According to data published in 2016 by the Regional Health Agency, people over 75 years of age living in institutions represent only 9.7% of all people over 75 years of age. More than 90% of the population over 75 years of age live at home. There is a growing demand and a need to expand the range of home services. Maintaining the quality of life at home is a major generational issue for EU countries.

This approach can only be carried out at territorial level and must therefore involve a large number of actors, particularly in the field of training and research, which must be able to prepare future professionals for the challenges of European territories. Thus, only a networking and partnership approach can respond to this network of issues.
