This report aims to outline some of the many activities in our University that contribute to the achievement of 17 SDGs the anchored on four dimensions of university activities: Teaching, Research, Third mission, and Institution. Thanks to the specific scientific group and our staff from various sectors that worked hard on the methodology, setting up metrics, and collecting, we could pile up a thorough and useful report for all to use. This year's report has also a devoted section to Covid-19 in which all the activities carried in the four abovementioned dimensions are depicted with the help of which we can map our commitment to getting out of the pandemic crisis.
The University of Bologna is extremely proud that its efforts regarding the SDGs have been certified by Times Higher Education and in 2021, it was ranked 20th in the World, out of more than 1000 universities in 94 countries/regions. This ranking is the only global performance table that assesses universities against the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.
