Impact

The University's commitment to sustainable development, assessed through its contribution to the United Nations 2030 Agenda and its 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), has been recognized by the new Times Higher Education (THE) University Impact Ranking, and UNIBO is ranked twentieth in the world in 2021 among more than 1000 universities from 94 countries/regions. 5 SDGs ranked among the top 30 universities.

UNIBO is ranked 12th in the list of the most sustainable universities of the world from UI Green Metric ranking system. The system of criteria adopted by UI Green Metric is based on the five pillars including: Setting and Infrastructure, Energy and Climate Change, Waste, Water, Transportation, Education and Research.
