Inclusive and sustainable cities for the Euro-Mediterranean dialogue

Third Mission Projects; North Africa; Sub-Saharan Africa

The project will support local-urban, economic and inclusive development actions, giving priority to measures in support of social economy and solidarity activities, in the two countries involved in the project: Morocco and Tunisia.

On the basis of existing reports and projects in the areas of Kef, Tabarka and Jendouba (Tunisia) and Meknes, Oujda and Tangier (Morocco), the aim is to strengthen the capacity of local authorities and civil society in Tunisia, Morocco and Emilia-Romagna to plan urban settlements in the most marginalised areas.

Participatory action will be taken, also supporting capacity building actions, in favour of inclusive local development, supporting in particular social and solidarity-based enterprises.

The project will start on January and conclude on December, 2019.
